Ten teams took to the pitches at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell on Sunday 6 September for a charity 7-a-side football tournament in aid of Rainbow Valley, the Clydebank-based cancer support charity.
Rainbow Valley runs courses for people affected by cancer. It includes family, friends and supporters in its programmes, recognising that a diagnosis affects more than just the patient. Courses are held in calm settings away from hospital, such as Gleddoch Golf and Spa Resort near Glasgow, and the charity’s services reach across Scotland’s central belt.
Bridge To Talent was pleased to donate one of the raffle prizes, a PlayStation 5. Other prizes included two televisions, a Nintendo Switch and more than 90 bottles of spirits. By the end of the day, the event had raised £2,334.60.
